Now about that wall you linked me to... making simple wall only really work if you can create the right theme/mood for the wall. Take a look at THIS wall for instance. He has achieved a really popular simple wall just by the creativity here. He created the whole concept of that and that is what makes it loved by many.
But the wall you have made basically comprises somebody elses vector which nearly fills the screen. Its not so much a simple wall due to that fact.

Overall the look of the wall is great. (I stated so in my comment) The only thing that bothered me was the fact you didn\'t really do much on it (which is evident) apart from the \"patterned\" background and the filtered effects over the top of the wall.

I know how you feel, i have deleted walls in the past after receiving such comments, but just take it as a lesson in the future to put in that extra bit of effort into them, and it is then you will gain respect from users and create wonderful walls.Just keep at it. :)

I don't think you get what I was saying. It's not about it being simple, it's the fact that you used someone else's vector and basically didn't modify it at all besides a few textural elements. The fact that you took neb1236's vector and made it take over 90% of the wallpaper is what I had a problem with. There is no "design" to taking someone else's vector and cropping it so it fills all that space of the wallpaper. If you had taken that vector and applied it to a background or even added a simple design element to it (such as putting her in a scene, added text, ANYTHING) then I wouldn't be so outspoken about this.


Basically, if you made that vector, I wouldn't have had a problem, but the fact that it's another person's and it takes such a prominant role in the wallpaper, then I feel it should be neb1236's name on that wallpaper, not yours, since they did more work on the wallpaper than you did.

No I LOVE simple wallpapers but yours was not simple it was just... lazy. Good simple walls have a minimalist design, not some huge vector that you didn\'t even do taking up the entire wall. That isn\'t a simple design. Just look at flyindreams\' walls - they are mostly all simple and minimalist but they put a lot of effort into them and do their own vectors and have interesting designs; and they are one of my favorite wallers. I don\'t like messy chaotic walls I like walls that people put a lot of effort into and I feel that yours took very little effort because you just threw in a background and texture over a cropped vector.

I\'m not trying to be mean to you or flaming your wall I just feel like you should put some more effort in. The character standing out is fine, but when it is someone else\'s vector taking up the entire wall minus the background ehhhhh it\'s questionable. If the majority of the wall (aka the vector) was your own then I wouldn\'t be outspoken about it and I would have thought it was a fine wall (besides that I don\'t think the colour of the background fits the colours in the vector that well). Using someone else\'s vector is fine but it took up like 90f your wall.

Mmmmm...l'immagine è bella, ma io ci metterei uno sfondo più neutro...senza le foto...magari con un colore unico e qualcosa di semplice...oppure prova ad ambientarlo, intendo prova a mettere come sfondo tipo una stanza (o qualcosa del genere) scura e poi metterci una scritta bianca davanti, tipo
